A well-funded, fast-growing EV charging manufacturer with real momentum in the market is looking for a Regional Account Manager to own the South UK. This is not a new business cold-calling role. It is about getting deep into the right wholesale and installer networks, becoming the person everyone thinks of when they think of this brand, and growing a book of active, loyal partners. Fully remote with travel to clients and bi-monthly in-person get-togethers – real autonomy over how you work.
What You Will Be Doing
- The core of this role is building and growing relationships with electrical wholesalers and the installer networks that flow through them.
- You will be the face of the brand in the South, turning introductions into loyal partners and growing a base of active installers who specify and fit the product consistently.
- Own and grow key wholesale accounts across your region.
- Identify, onboard and activate new installer partners.
- Become embedded in your accounts so the brand is always front of mind.
- Support partners with training, joint activity and commercial terms.
- Spot opportunities in new segments and work with partners to close them.
- Keep your pipeline clean and contribute to the shared team forecast.
Who This Is For
You will come from one of three places:
- Electrical Wholesale: You know how the major wholesale businesses operate. You understand how buying decisions are made, how installers are influenced, and how to get a product moving. You have the relationships and know how to use them.
- A Manufacturer or Supplier Selling Into Wholesale: You have been on the supplier side, selling into wholesale networks and managing those accounts over time. You know the difference between getting listed and getting specified, and you know how to achieve the latter.
- An EV Charging Brand: You have worked for a brand in this space and have a network of installers who know and trust you. You can bring them to a new brand quickly and you understand what it takes to keep their loyalty.
Whatever your background, the common thread is this: you build relationships, not just pipelines. You are known in your market, you move quickly, and you understand that growing the right partnerships is what drives long-term results.
Seniority
Scoped at Regional Account Manager level, but the client is open to candidates who sit above this and are looking for a role with real scope to build something. If that is you, it is worth a conversation. Also open to candidates who are based in the North to cover this region.
