Role Overview:
A leading company in the Automotive and EV sector is seeking a Procurement Officer to join their team in Warwickshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an innovative and growing organization that is at the forefront of sustainable automotive solutions.
The Procurement Officer will play a key role in supporting the purchasing and procurement activities within the business. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the efficient sourcing of materials and services, contributing to the smooth operation of the company’s supply chain.
The role can either be Full-Time or Part-Time and focuses on supporting the Purchasing and Procurement across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective and timely purchasing of materials and services.
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms and pricing.
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Negotiating contracts and supplier agreements.
- Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues that arise.
- Collaborating with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in the automotive or EV sector is highly desirable.
