This is a hands-on, commercially minded role for someone who enjoys getting things done in a fast-moving infrastructure business.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will own contractor and supplier governance, operational reporting, procurement, and continuous improvement across a growing national charging network. You will work closely with technical, commercial, and leadership teams and will be a key part of a lean, high-performing operation where your impact is immediate. This is not a purely strategic role. You will be expected to roll your sleeves up, move at pace, and bridge the gap between technical operations and commercial delivery in a business that is scaling quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Own contractor and supplier governance including SLA management, performance reviews, procurement, and tendering
- Own and continuously improve KPI frameworks, dashboards, and BI reporting
- Deliver cost analysis, budgeting support, and identify efficiency opportunities
- Coordinate infrastructure projects across the national charging estate
- Drive continuous improvement across operational processes and governance frameworks
- Act as the central link between technical operations, commercial delivery, and senior leadership
What We Are Looking For
- Proven contractor and supplier management experience in an infrastructure, energy, utilities, mobility, or technical service environment
- Commercial mindset with budget ownership and cost control experience
- Strong BI and reporting capability, Power BI or Tableau preferred
- Hands-on, solutions-focused, and able to move at pace
- Based within commutable distance of London, 3 days per week in the city required
- Sustained tenure in previous roles
- Desirable EV charging, energy, or clean technology experience
- Familiarity with CPO or EMSP environments
- Lean, Six Sigma, or project management credentials
Package
- c.£70,000 base salary
- Bonus scheme
- 25 days annual leave
- 5% pension contribution on total earnings
