Operations & Activation Project Manager – Electrical Bias

Network Activations Manager (EV Charging)

Location: London (with flexibility)

Salary: £45–50k + discretionary bonus

About the Role

We’re seeking a hands-on Network Activations Manager to take ownership of bringing new EV charging sites online. This is a pivotal position for someone with strong technical understanding, great organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, coordinate and execute the activation of new EV charging sites.
  • Ensure all chargers are configured correctly in back-office and payment systems.
  • Review handover documentation and quality-check sites before they move to Operations.
  • Troubleshoot any issues with connectivity, networking, payment or firmware during activation.
  • Act as the key point of contact between construction teams, contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Capture lessons learned and document best practices.
  • Initially a “hands-on” role with the opportunity to grow into managing a small team as the network expands.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of electrical/electronic installations and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with EV charging systems, payment gateways, or similar technical infrastructure.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate multiple small projects at pace.
  • Confident problem solver able to handle issues on site or remotely.
  • Experience leading or supervising others (team leader or supervisor level is fine).
  • Full UK driving licence.
