They are seeking a practical and detail-oriented Test Technician to support product development and validation activities within a fast-paced engineering environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge electrification technology, supporting the testing and validation of advanced electric drive systems through dynamometer-based testing and data acquisition activities.
You will be responsible for:
- Setting up and operating dynamometer test rigs
- Supporting Design Verification Plans (DVP)
- Collecting and validating test data
- Assisting engineering teams with development and validation activities
The successful candidate will be hands-on, safety-conscious, and comfortable working within a dynamic prototype and testing environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Set up dynamometers, test rigs, and supporting equipment for electric drive system testing
- Install and configure units under test including motors, inverters, gearboxes, and associated components
- Configure instrumentation, sensors, and data acquisition systems
- Conduct performance, durability, efficiency, and validation testing
- Record, log, and validate test data accurately
- Support engineers with analysis of test results and reporting
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability across electrical and electromechanical systems
- Ability to capture and interpret test data accurately
- Hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly/installation experience
- Understanding of high-voltage safety procedures and electrical safety standards
