Non-Executive Director (NED) – EV Charging Infrastructure/Real Estate Background Location: London (Hybrid / Flexible)Commitment: Approx. 1–2 days per monthRemuneration: Competitive day rate / annual retainerAbout the CompanyOur client is a high-growth EV charging infrastructure and investment company, backed by millions in secured funding, with a mission to build one of the UK’s largest networks of ultra-fast EV charging hubs.As the business enters its next stage of expansion, scaling nationally and deepening partnerships with major landowners, developers, and investors, they are seeking to appoint experienced Non-Executive Directors to provide strategic guidance, market insight, and high-level introductions across the property and infrastructure landscape.The OpportunityThis is a pivotal time to join a fast-moving, well-funded infrastructure platform in one of the UK’s most dynamic growth sectors.As a Non-Executive Director, you’ll work closely with the Board and senior leadership team to help shape commercial strategy, advise on property pipeline expansion, and guide governance as the company scales.You’ll bring deep understanding of commercial property, real estate partnerships, and investment strategy, coupled with a trusted network at senior level across landlords, developers, and institutional investors.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic oversight and commercial guidance on property acquisition and partnership strategy.Use your industry network to open doors with landowners, developers, asset managers, and potential strategic partners.Support the executive team on market positioning, deal structuring, and growth planning.Contribute to board governance, investment decisions, and long-term business planning.Act as an ambassador for the business within the property and infrastructure community.Candidate ProfileSenior-level background in real estate, development, infrastructure, or investment management (ideally with board or leadership experience).Deep understanding of land acquisition, leasing structures, and commercial deal-making.Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with a focus on scalability and long-term value creation.Established and trusted network across the UK property sector.Previous non-executive or advisory board experience is advantageous but not essential.Alignment with the mission of advancing clean transport and sustainable infrastructure.Commitment & RemunerationTime commitment: typically 1–2 days per month, including quarterly board meetings and ad-hoc strategic input.Remuneration: flexible structure, depending on experience.This is an opportunity to play an influential, high-impact role in one of the most exciting sectors in UK infrastructure, applying your industry expertise and network to accelerate the national EV charging rollout.If you’re an experienced property or infrastructure leader looking to contribute at board level in a purpose-driven, commercially ambitious company, I’d love to hear from you.Please contact abbey.graham@everec.co.uk for a confidential discussion.
