A national EV infrastructure specialist delivering large-scale commercial fleet charging networks and maintaining charge point infrastructure across the UK after winning a huge national contract!
The business has secured major long-term infrastructure contracts, including a national rail maintenance agreement covering existing charger maintenance and rollout support of up to 10,000 chargers over the next four years.
Operating with in-house civils, solar and BESS capability alongside a growing engineering team, the company is scaling strategically while maintaining high technical standards and long-term client partnerships.
Role Overview
This is a field-based position focused on the installation, maintenance and fault management of domestic and commercial EV charging infrastructure across fleet, commercial and public sector environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of domestic and commercial EV charge points
- Maintenance and corrective fault management
- Supporting large-scale fleet and infrastructure programmes
- Working on government and commercial contracts
- Integration of Solar & BESS systems (desirable)
- Ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards
Candidate Requirements
- Fully qualified electrician
- Gold Card (preferred/required)
- Proven experience installing domestic & commercial EV chargers
- Experience in maintenance and fault-finding
- Solar and/or BESS experience desirable
- Able to pass DBS clearance
- Clean driving licence (up to 3 points acceptable)
- Willing to travel with limited overnight stays
Travel & Working Pattern
- Field-based role
- Maximum 1 overnight stay per week
- Typically up to 2 sites away from base
- Travel afternoon prior, overnight stay, complete works, return
- Accommodation, evening meal and breakfast expensed
