We are seeking a skilled Test and Development Engineer to lead the testing and development of powertrain systems, engine components, and test rigs for cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for propulsion engines, components, and subsystems.
- Set up and operate engine test rigs, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
- Measure and analyse performance metrics including torque, power, fuel efficiency, and emissions.
- Troubleshoot technical anomalies and collaborate with design teams to deliver improvements.
- Maintain, calibrate, and manage test equipment, ensuring strict compliance with safety standards.
- Prepare clear technical documentation and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Support propulsion systems during UAV deployment and field operations.
- Promote and uphold safety standards across design, testing, and production phases.
The Ideal Candidate Profile
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or related Engineering.
- Industry experience in engine, powertrain, or propulsion testing.
- Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines and propulsion systems.
- Proficiency in engine testing techniques, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
- Hands-on experience with dynamometers, control systems, and test instrumentation.
- Skilled in performance data analysis, efficiency calculations, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
- Commitment to safety and compliance in engineering test environments.
