We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee the delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects across the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the fast‐growing electric vehicle sector, managing full project lifecycles from design and planning through to installation, commissioning, and client handover.

The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge, proven leadership skills, and a track record of delivering complex electrical or infrastructure projects safely, efficiently, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of EV charging projects, from planning and design to delivery and completion.
  • Oversee Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) performance across multiple sites.
  • Prepare and manage CDM documentation, RAMS, and Construction Phase Plans.
  • Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors across electrical and civil engineering disciplines.
  • Liaise with clients, DNOs, suppliers, and local authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Control project budgets, schedules, and resources while identifying risks and implementing mitigations.
  • Conduct regular site visits, progress meetings, and quality inspections.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, delivery, and operational performance.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience managing projects within EV charging, electrical contracting, or utilities infrastructure.
  • Strong technical understanding of LV/HV electrical systems and grid connections.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and contracts.
  • Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
  • Electrical Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC/Degree or equivalent).
  • SMSTS or SSSTS certification (essential).
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
