We are recruiting for a Field Service Operations Manager (Electrical) to join a growing, specialist EV charging business at an early stage. This is a senior operational role for someone with strong hands-on electrical experience and solid EV charging maintenance background. Youβll lead day-to-day delivery, manage subcontractors and field teams, and help build the operational processes that allow the business to scale.
The role:
- Lead EV charging maintenance operations and site assessments
- Plan and coordinate subcontractors and field engineers
- Act as technical escalation for complex faults and recurring issues
- Support install and remedial works where required
- Build scalable processes, standards, reporting and KPIs
- Ensure full compliance with BS7671 (18th Edition) and strong H&S standards
- Work closely with leadership to improve delivery and customer outcomes
What weβre looking for:
- Experience: Strong electrical background with significant time on the tools, EV charging maintenance experience (essential), EV charging installation, fault-finding and remedials experience, comfortable leading teams and managing subcontractors, happy working remotely with site involvement when required.
- Qualifications: 18th Edition (BS7671), Inspection & Testing β C&G 2391 or equivalent, SMSTS + site management qualification, CSCS Gold Card.
