Operating across residential, commercial and large-scale energy efficiency schemes, the business provides full concept-to-delivery renewable installations, helping clients achieve sustainability and carbon reduction targets.

Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, the company is seeking qualified Solar PV / Battery Storage Electrical Engineers to join its expanding delivery team.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified electrical engineers with experience in Solar PV, battery storage and/or EV charging to work across a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects. Engineers must be flexible and comfortable working across multiple sectors, travelling to various sites when required. A clear training and progression pathway is available, including opportunities to step into Team Lead positions. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations while ensuring full compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain Solar PV systems, battery storage units and EV charging infrastructure
  • Carry out electrical testing, commissioning and fault finding
  • Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and all relevant safety standards
  • Prepare and maintain accurate installation documentation and certification
  • Communicate effectively with clients and site teams
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and health & safety compliance

Essential Qualifications

  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • Inspection & Testing (2391 / 2394 & 2395 or equivalent)
  • AM2 / AM2S (or working towards)
  • Renewable Technologies qualification (Solar PV / Battery Storage / EV – C&G or BPEC desirable)
  • Valid ECS Card
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • DBS check (required)
