Head of Forecourt Development Location : London (Hybrid) Salary : £70,000 – £75,000 base + Uncapped Commission + Car Allowance About the Company: My EV Charging client is looking for a commercially minded and strategic Head of Forecourt Development to lead this initiative, unlocking new growth opportunities and ensuring the successful deployment of ultra-rapid charging stations. Role This role involves leading the identification, acquisition, and development of prime forecourt locations for ultra-rapid EV charging stations, driving growth and strategic partnerships while overseeing the entire project lifecycle. Responsibilities Site Acquisition: Identify and secure high-traffic forecourt locations. Negotiate favourable terms with landowners and operators. Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a plan for market expansion. Focus on key regions to build a dominant network. Partnership Management: Establish long-term collaborations with forecourt operators, fuel retailers, and industry stakeholders. Project Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle from prospecting to deployment. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Commercial Negotiations: Lead high-stakes discussions to secure beneficial agreements. Performance Optimisation: Analyse and improve site performance to maximise ROI. Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams (operations, legal, marketing) to align resources. Sustainability Advocacy: Promote EV adoption and align with sustainability goals. Previous Experience Extensive experience in site acquisition , business development , or partnership management , preferably in EV charging, energy, real estate, or mobility sectors. Proven ability to negotiate and close high-value deals with forecourt operators or retailers. Skilled in project management, financial analysis, and creating strategic growth plans. Familiarity with the forecourt, retail, or EV industries is a strong advantage. Passionate about sustainability and the EV transition.
