Head of Delivery & Partnerships UK – EV Charging Infrastructure – Hybrid with frequent travel – £75k + Car + Bonus
Location: London / South East (must live within 30–60 minutes of key depot locations)
You will be the face of the UK business, working alongside a Head of Technical Operations UK, you will be delivering EV charging infrastructure to bus depots and fleet charging. Your responsibility will be to manage the efficient delivery of sites, manage key stakeholder relationships and grow partnerships within the UK.
You will have experience leading and delivering on EV charging infrastructure experience; DC hub experience is desirable. You will have experience managing project operations and growing partnerships with existing and new business accounts.
This role requires frequent travelling around London depots and client sites, you must be happy to travel up to 5 days, depending on the role requirements that week, as you are the face of the UK business.
The Opportunity
My client is hiring for an experienced and hands‑on leader to become the primary UK representative for a growing international EV charging business. As the Head of Delivery & Partnerships UK, you will oversee the delivery, performance, and long-term operation of EV charging infrastructure across major fleet, transport, and depot-based organisations.
You will combine operational leadership, customer partnership management, and multi-site delivery oversight to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable charging infrastructure across multiple UK locations. This role requires a proactive, relationship-driven operator who can be on-site frequently, build trust with key stakeholders, and drive continuous improvements.
Supported by a dedicated Head of Technical Operations UK and an experienced remote technical team, you will play a central role in scaling operations across the UK and strengthening partnerships with existing and future fleet-based customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of EV charging projects across multiple depot and fleet sites
- Oversee installation partners, contractors, and service providers to ensure consistent quality
- Provide operational oversight of DC charging hardware, ensuring correct installation, configuration, and performance (Kempower experience highly desirable)
- Troubleshoot escalations and support technical resolution in partnership with engineering teams
- Ensure all UK operations are safe, compliant, and aligned with regulatory standards
- Manage on-site challenges proactively and maintain strong operational visibility across customer locations
- Serve as the primary operational contact for major fleet, bus, and transport organisations
- Build, strengthen, and maintain long‑term relationships with depot and operations teams
- Ensure service availability, performance, and SLA compliance across all active sites
- Deliver clear communication, reporting, and operational updates to customer stakeholders
Growth & Partnership Development
- Identify new opportunities with similar fleet and depot‑based organisations across the UK
- Support expansion of the UK customer network and onboarding of new operational sites
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key suppliers and service partners
- Represent the business at relevant industry events, meetings, and operational reviews
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate documentation, safety records, and regulatory compliance
- Analyse operational performance data to identify and implement improvements
- Provide UK insights to help shape global operational processes and best practices
- Work collaboratively with remote engineering and support teams to standardise operations
Candidate Profile
Experience & Skills
- Strong operational background in EV charging, electrical contracting, industrial infrastructure, or fleet operations
- Solid understanding of DC EV charging systems; experience with Kempower DC hardware is highly desirable
- Experience managing multi-site rollouts, installations, or infrastructure delivery
- Comfortable in hands‑on, depot-based environments with frequent site presence
- Proven ability to manage contractors, installation partners, and service providers
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience within a scale‑up, SME, or fast‑paced technical environment is an advantage
Requirements
- Must be based within 30–60 minutes of key depot locations in the London / South East region
- Valid UK driving licence with willingness to travel frequently
- Right to work in the UK
- Background in project delivery, operations, or technical partnerships
