Head of Business Development – EV / Automotive – London – £120k
Role: Head of Business Development
Location: London UK (2 days on site per week)
Travel: Overseas Travel
Salary: £75k to £120k OTE depending on experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Business Development to drive global sales & rental growth for a leading vehicle manufacturer. This role is focused on expanding market reach by selling high volumes of vehicles to dealers, retailers, and individual buyers, with a primary focus on the North American and European markets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in high-value B2B and B2C sales, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to develop and execute a global sales strategy. With extensive international travel required, this role demands a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for delivering results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a global sales strategy to drive large-volume vehicle sales.
- Identify, engage, and manage relationships with dealers, distributors, and retailers across key markets.
- Target individual high-net-worth buyers and develop strategic sales channels.
- Lead negotiations, contracts, and pricing discussions to maximise revenue and market share.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Represent the brand at international trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment on sales objectives.
- Report on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends to senior leadership.
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record in high-value vehicle sales, business development, or commercial leadership.
- Strong experience selling to dealerships, distributors, and direct consumers in global markets.
- Extensive knowledge of the automotive, luxury, or lifestyle vehicle industries.
- A network of existing relationships within the North American and European markets is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage complex negotiations and drive deals from prospecting to close.
- Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel across Europe, North America, and beyond.
- Based in or willing to commute to London at least two days per week.
