The Role
A senior individual contributor position responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high value global enterprise accounts. You will work closely with some of the world's largest energy traders, utilities, financial institutions and industrial corporates, acting as their primary commercial relationship and ensuring they are deriving maximum value from the business's data and intelligence products.
This is not a new business hunting role. It is a strategic account management position requiring deep commercial relationships, consultative selling capability and the ability to navigate complex multi stakeholder enterprise environments at senior level.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of global enterprise accounts, protecting and expanding revenue across a complex book of business
- Build deep senior relationships across trading, risk, procurement and commercial functions within client organisations
- Identify and close upsell and cross sell opportunities across the full product suite
- Act as the primary escalation point and trusted commercial partner for your accounts
- Work closely with internal product, research and editorial teams to align client needs with product development
- Represent the business at senior level across industry events and client meetings globally
What We Are Looking For
- Proven enterprise account management experience within a price reporting agency, energy data or commodities intelligence business
- Deep understanding of energy and commodities markets including power, gas, oil or renewables
- Track record of retaining and growing large, complex global accounts at senior level
- Exceptional relationship building and stakeholder management skills at C suite and VP level
- Comfortable operating in a high autonomy, high accountability environmentAdditional languages are a strong advantage for this role, particularly French and Arabic.
