Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic EV Charging Procurement and Partnership Manager to lead the development and optimisation of a fast-growing electric vehicle (EV) charging network. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive strategy that balances in-house and outsourced operations. By managing procurement processes and fostering strong partnerships, you will ensure the delivery of a seamless and reliable charging experience for customers.
Key Qualifications:
- Significant experience in supply chain evaluation.
- Proven track record of managing complex outsourcing strategies, including tenders and supplier negotiations.
- Strong expertise in partner management, with the ability to drive collaboration and achieve mutual goals.
- Experience designing and executing operating models within a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Familiarity with ESG principles and their application in the EV or renewables sector is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Evaluation • Assess the EV charging value chain to identify the ideal balance between internal capabilities and external partnerships. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive outsourcing strategy that supports the long-term vision for EV charging infrastructure.
- Procurement Leadership • Oversee tender processes, conduct supplier evaluations, and lead contract negotiations to secure optimal solutions and services. • Ensure procurement efforts are aligned with operational goals, financial targets, and sustainability commitments.
- Partnership Development • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to drive alignment on strategic priorities. • Serve as the main point of contact for partner engagement, fostering collaboration and ensuring shared accountability.
- Operational Excellence • Develop and implement a scalable and efficient Target Operating Model (TOM) for EV charging operations. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service reliability and improve the overall customer experience.
- Innovation and Differentiation • Scout and implement innovative technologies and approaches to create a competitive edge in the EV market. • Embed ESG principles into the EV charging strategy to support broader sustainability objectives.
