An innovative technology business operating within the energy and electric mobility sector is looking to hire a Software Engineer to support the development of software platforms that connect infrastructure, devices and user-facing applications.
This role will contribute to the design and development of scalable software systems used to manage and monitor connected infrastructure and smart energy devices. The successful candidate will work closely with product and engineering teams to build reliable, high-performing software that supports the growth of next-generation mobility and energy solutions.
The position would suit a mid to senior level engineer who enjoys working across both backend and frontend technologies and has experience developing platforms that integrate with connected devices or infrastructure systems.
- Design, develop and maintain software applications that support connected infrastructure and energy technology platforms
- Contribute to the development of full stack applications, including backend services, APIs and user interfaces
- Integrate external systems, devices or hardware into platform software using modern communication protocols
- Help improve system performance, reliability and maintainability across platform services
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support continuous improvement of platform architecture
Experience working as a Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Strong software development skills across modern backend and frontend technologies

- Familiarity with integrating software with connected devices, infrastructure platforms or IoT systems
