Our client is looking for a Senior BDM to drive new business and grow major project pipelines across industrial, commercial and public sector clients. The business designs, installs, commissions and maintains CHP and gas engine systems for some of the UK's most complex energy requirements.
This is a senior, autonomous role for someone who knows how to win large, complex contracts and build long term client relationships in the distributed energy space.
Responsibilities- Develop and win new business across CHP, gas engine and standby power generation
- Manage and grow a pipeline of major projects across industrial, commercial and public sector clients
- Work across natural gas and green gas CHP, standby diesel, BESS and grid integration solutions
- Negotiate and close complex, high value contracts including embedded generation and turnkey solutions
- Represent the business at industry events and build long term strategic client relationships
- Work closely with technical and operations teams to deliver the right solutions for clients
- Experience in CHP, gas engines, distributed power generation or adjacent energy solutions sales
- A track record of winning new business and closing high value contracts
- Some platform knowledge across CHP, standby diesel, BESS or grid connected solutions
- Comfortable with a UK wide remit and regular travel
- Self motivated, commercially driven and able to work independently
- Candidates from related sectors such as heat pumps, energy efficiency or industrial power are also encouraged to apply
