This role is ideal for someone experienced in hands-on mechanical work. The position focuses mainly on vehicle fitting and assembly, working with tools and components in a practical workshop environment. Based in London, you’ll be joining a growing company building innovative vehicle solutions for urban mobility. There is strong opportunity for progression as the team and business continue to expand.
Location: NW10, London (On-site, 5 days per week)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 base + fast progression
Company Overview: We are a growing engineering-led company developing micro mobility vehicles and related mobility products. The team is currently around 30 people and is on track to double in size this year. Having spent the past phase focused on prototyping and R&D, the business is now moving into production, making this an exciting time to join and grow with the company.
The Role: This is a hands-on mechanical role suited to someone who enjoys working with physical products and wants to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment. You will support the build, testing, and refinement of vehicles and mechanical systems, working closely with engineers and the wider production team. This role is fully on-site and requires someone who enjoys being in the workshop and involved day-to-day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with mechanical assembly, prototyping, and testing
- Support R&D activities and design iterations
- Help transition prototypes into small-batch and production builds
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support continuous improvement
- Work closely with engineers, production, and operations teams
About You:
- Hands-on mechanical background (workshop, technician, or similar)
- Keen to learn, develop, and progress quickly
- Practical, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Comfortable working on-site 5 days per week
- Interest in EVs, bikes, mobility, or hardware products is a plus
