A fast-growing technology company operating at the intersection of renewable energy and data-driven asset optimisation is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to take ownership of the operational and commercial performance of a large portfolio of renewable energy assets. The business develops software and analytics that support owners and operators of solar to improve reliability, transparency, and profitability. Backed by recent institutional funding, the company is scaling rapidly.
As Senior Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational performance of a portfolio of renewable energy assets. You will work closely with internal technical, product, and commercial teams, as well as external service providers.
Key Responsibilities- Own and monitor asset performance across production, availability, and revenue.
- Analyse SCADA and operational data to diagnose underperformance.
- Manage O&M providers and ensure KPI delivery.
- Work with software teams to design new AI products.
- Manage key commercial contracts including PPAs and grid agreements.
- Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve tools, dashboards, and automation.
- Help build scalable asset management processes.
- 5β7+ yearsβ experience in renewable energy asset management, operations, or performance engineering; distributed / multi-site solar experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong technical understanding of solar PV, SCADA, performance modelling; engineering degree preferred (Electrical or related).
- Proven experience managing and interpreting key commercial frameworks, including PPAs, O&M agreements, grid/interconnection, and other operational contracts.
- Confident using data to identify root causes, prioritise actions, and drive measurable performance improvements.
- Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management skills across internal teams, asset owners, and third-party providers.
