This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing EV and energy infrastructure business operating at the heart of the UK’s transition to net zero. The organisation develops, owns, and operates critical infrastructure across EV charging and grid-connected assets.
The legal team sits within a collaborative in-house function of four, led by General Counsel, and works closely with property, construction, commercial, and operations teams. This role is ideal for someone looking to move from private practice into an in-house environment, or an in-house lawyer seeking broader exposure.
Key Responsibilities- Support the acquisition, development, and management of land and property assets
- Draft, review, and negotiate property-related agreements (leases, licences, easements, wayleaves, options)
- Advise on real estate aspects of infrastructure and utility projects
- Work closely with internal property and development teams
- Support external counsel where required
- Assist with due diligence on new sites and acquisitions
- Provide pragmatic, commercial legal advice to a scaling business
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) or equivalent
- 0–4 years PQE (applications from more senior lawyers welcomed)
- Background in real estate, property, utilities, energy, or infrastructure law
- Experience or interest in renewables, EV charging, grid, DNO/IDNO, or utilities environments
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to work in a fast-moving in-house setting
