Role: Senior Project Manager (Major Projects)
Location: Remote (Ideally South England) - Regular travel to Sites
Salary: £75k to £85k + Car + Benefits

The company: We are partnering with a business operating at the forefront of the UK's energy transition. Working across high and low voltage electrical solutions up to 400kV, they deliver major infrastructure projects spanning EV charging, renewables and commercial energy networks. A genuinely purpose driven business with a strong pipeline and ambitious growth plans.
The Role: We are looking for a Senior Project Manager focussing on Major Projects to take ownership of a portfolio of complex, multi million pound projects from inception through to completion. You'll be a key figure in the business, sitting at the intersection of operations and commercial and acting as the point of escalation for clients, partners and internal teams alike.
What You'll Do:
- Manage a portfolio of major projects, delivering on time, on budget and to quality standards
- Own P&L reporting across your project portfolio
- Act as the escalation point for clients, partners and internal teams on delivery, finance and contract matters
- Define and embed project controls, governance and change management processes
- Maintain accurate programmes of work including milestones, scope, resource forecasting and financial management
- Work closely with the commercial team on lessons learned, feedback and cost catalogue accuracy
- Manage cross programme dependencies and maintain the dependency log
- Attend site when required to troubleshoot or quality check
- Mentor and support junior members of the Major Projects PM team
What You'll Need:
Essential:
- Experience working for an ICP or DNO at EHV voltage levels (33kV to 132kV)
- Project Management qualification or equivalent experience (Prince2, APM or PMI)
Also valuable:
- Background in electrical utilities or construction
- Experience working alongside design teams and in tendering
- Competence in MS Project or equivalent PM software
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)
- SMSTS qualification (desirable)
