As part of its growth strategy, the organisation is evaluating and deploying Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across a portfolio of infrastructure projects and is seeking an experienced consultant to provide strategic, technical and project leadership support.

- Support grid connection, DNO engagement and regulatory compliance activities
- Advise on battery sizing, system configuration, energy optimisation and operational strategies
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Monitor project performance, budgets, programmes and key milestones
- Provide technical challenge and independent review of supplier proposals and project assumptions
- Develop business cases and investment recommendations for senior management
- Support the development of long-term energy storage strategy and internal capability
Required Experience

- EV charging infrastructure experience
- Renewable energy project delivery experience
- Commercial and industrial (C&I) BESS projects

- Energy trading, flexibility services or ancillary services markets
- Experience supporting infrastructure investors, asset owners or operators
