The Mission

Our customers build the largest, most complex projects in the world. We are seeking a Mission-Critical Solutions Engineer who operates as a Deal Owner. In this role, you are not a "support" function for a sales team; you are the commercial lead for our most sophisticated opportunities. You will bridge the gap between technical architecture and commercial closing, taking full responsibility for contracts valued over $1M from initial discovery to final signature and long‑term expansion.

Role Impact

This role unifies the Hunter, the Architect, and the Closer. You are the single point of accountability for driving scalable, customer‑centric growth across our global matrix organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Ownership & Closing: Take the lead on high value opportunities. You own the commercial outcome, navigating complex procurement, compliance, and legal hurdles to bring deals to "Closed‑Won".
  • Consultative Discovery & Qualification: Act as the primary investigator to qualify prospects. You will leverage regional insights and automation tools to identify where our ROI provides the greatest impact.
  • Commercial Solution Architecture: Design multi‑layered hardware, software, and integration solutions that are technically sound but, more importantly, commercially viable. You translate complex tech into simple, business‑focused terms that unlock budget approval.
  • Strategic Proposal Leadership: Lead the creation of tailored pitches and tender responses. You will coordinate the technical, commercial, and legal inputs required to win enterprise‑level projects.
  • Account Management & Expansion: Own the post‑sale commercial relationship. You are responsible to drive upsells, cross‑sells, and long‑term revenue growth.
  • Process Optimisation: Use Zoho CRM, Apollo and AI tools to automate your pipeline management, ensuring your focus remains on high‑leverage closing activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of "Closing" Experience: A proven track record in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or Account Management within Construction Tech, Software, or Mission‑Critical industries.
  • High‑Value Contract History: Documented success in owning and closing high value enterprise contracts.
  • The "Hybrid" Skill Set: You possess the technical depth of an Engineer with the commercial drive of a Deal Closer.
  • Industry Expertise: A deep understanding of the construction lifecycle and the ability to position technology as a mission‑critical asset.
  • Automation Literacy: Strong proficiency in Zoho CRM, Apollo and Google Workspace, with a "work smarter" approach to sales automation and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to deliver compelling, visual presentations (Slides, Miro) that convince both site‑level engineers and C‑suite executives.
  • Travel: The successful candidate will be expected to travel periodically throughout the year, representing the company at major industry events and conducting on‑site visits to drive project success and account growth. Available to work within UK or EST time zones.

Benefits

  • Work on the world’s largest and most complex, high‑visibility projects such as data centres, semiconductor and pharma plants, delivering tangible outcomes with Evercam’s reality capture platform.
  • Fully Remote.
  • Healthcare Contribution. (USA/IE/UK ONLY)
  • Pension Contribution. (USA/IE/UK ONLY)
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
  • Annual learning budget for certifications, conferences, and technical training (e.g., BIM workflows, data privacy, project controls).
  • On‑site visits to mission‑critical projects (subject to role and region).
  • Direct exposure to general contractors, owners, and global stakeholders.
  • Spot awards for exceptional delivery on complex projects.
  • Competitive base salary with commission‑based bonus tied to project outcomes and team milestones.
