We are supporting a high-performance motorsport manufacturer with the appointment of a Quality Manager to take ownership of quality across the full product lifecycle and lead the quality function. This is a hands-on leadership role within a low-volume, high-complexity environment, combining shop-floor engagement, problem-solving, and team leadership, while shaping quality systems as the business scales.

The role

  • Lead and manage the quality team, setting direction, priorities, and standards
  • Own quality across manufacturing, assembly, vehicle build, and supply chain
  • Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Manage quality from prototype through to low-volume production
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for complex quality issues
  • Lead supplier quality, audits, and development activities
  • Act as the escalation point for critical quality issues
  • Work closely with engineering and operations to embed quality by design

  • Experience as a Quality Manager or senior quality leader within motorsport or niche automotive
  • Proven experience leading and developing quality teams
