Our client, a pioneering force in battery system innovation, is seeking a Tech & Delivery Lead for BMS Strategy to act as Group Product Owner (GPO) for Battery Management System (BMS) strategy. This senior role will shape the long-term technical direction, ensuring cohesive delivery of strategic initiatives across multiple battery programs, and aligning software, hardware, and control system roadmaps for maximum efficiency and performance.
The Tech & Delivery Lead for BMS Strategy will:
- Define and drive long-term BMS strategy, ensuring alignment of hardware, software, and control roadmaps.
- Lead architecture reviews and platform harmonisation across multiple engineering domains.
- Oversee agile delivery across squads, managing backlogs, dependencies, and milestone progress.
- Coordinate system integration sprints, validation processes, and cross-functional technical activities.
- Engage with internal leadership, product owners, and external partners to ensure delivery alignment.
- Embed best practices in system design, traceability, and compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and governance frameworks.
The Tech & Delivery Lead for BMS Strategy will have:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading cross-disciplinary product teams in embedded software and hardware.
- Strong knowledge of battery control systems, CAN architectures, and HV safety requirements.
