We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer for our client, a producer of cutting-edge integrated electric motor and power electronics modules for the automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery, robotics, and green technology sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inception, development and release of mechanical system designs across a broad range of company series-production and advanced R&D projects.
The Mechanical Engineer will:
- Create and develop 3D model-based engineering design solutions for scalable electric propulsion modules.
- Ensure project documentation is correctly managed, maintained and released in accordance with company BMS processes and procedures.
- Support product sourcing, purchasing and selection as required by the design process.
- Track, manage and maintain BOM’s for mechanical systems and assemblies.
The Mechanical Engineer will have:
- A degree or similar in an engineering discipline.
- Good working experience of mechanical systems CAD software e.g. CATIA, Unigraphics, Solidworks or similar.
- Excellent understanding of 3D modeling, design, packaging and conceptual digital mockups.
