A leading company specialising in scientific instruments, with a strong focus on applications in energy storage and battery technology is currently looking to hire a R&D Testing Engineer. The successful candidate will develop and execute rigorous testing procedures to ensure the performance, reliability, and quality of complex systems and components.
The R&D Testing Engineer will:
- Conduct performance, reliability, stress, and failure analysis tests on mechanical, electronic, and software systems.
- Analyse and interpret test data, providing actionable feedback to the engineering team.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, protocols, and procedures for new and existing product designs.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Design and build custom test setups and fixtures as needed.
The R&D Testing Engineer will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in testing within an R&D or product development environment.
- Proficiency in test instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and related tools.
