Overview
Our client, a leading technical centre in the battery manufacturing sector, is seeking a Process Quality Technician to support the delivery of high-quality operational processes and outputs. This role ensures compliance with customer requirements, ISO 9001, and internal quality management systems, playing a vital part in driving product excellence across all stages of production.
Please note, the role is 12 months fixed term contract and part time.
Responsibilities
- Support operations with data collection, product conformance checks, and process measurements.
- Conduct process audits in line with control plans, procedures, and work instructions.
- Raise non-conformities, deviations, and initiate Level Zero concerns where required.
- Carry out goods inward inspections against supporting documentation.
- Issue supplier rejection notes when appropriate and follow up with corrective actions.
- Assist with in-line process measurements and support operational quality improvements.
Qualifications
- NVQ in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years\\\’ experience in a related engineering role, ideally with a quality inspection background.
- Proficient in Excel and Outlook for data capture and reporting.
- Experience in product measurement, data collection, and process auditing (audit experience desirable).
- Awareness of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
- Strong communication, time management, and collaborative skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
