Our client, a manufacturer of precision electro-mechanical components and assemblies is currently looking to hire a Quality Systems Engineer. This role is vital to maintaining and improving internal quality systems and processes in line with customer and industry expectations.
The Quality Systems Engineer will:
- Maintain and lead structured quality processes, adapting them to meet specific customer requirements.
- Conduct internal audits, identify trends, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Support the Quality Engineer to ensure compliance with BS EN ISO 9001:2015.
- Report on key production KPIs (e.g. scrap percentages, on-time delivery) and present findings in meetings.
- Lead external compliance and certification audits, including customer-led assessments.
The Quality Systems Engineer will have:
- Strong, process-driven mindset with the ability to lead and adapt quality systems.
- Collaborative team player, confident working alongside engineering and quality teams.
- Experience with internal auditing and understanding of quality improvement tools (e.g., 8D, Root Cause Analysis).
