Our client, a pioneering name in high-performance engineering, is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to ensure that all components, assemblies, and materials meet stringent quality standards. The successful candidate will implement robust inspection processes, utilize advanced metrology tools, and collaborate across departments to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.

The Quality Inspector will:

  • Define and implement robust inspection processes in collaboration with the Quality Manager to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct inspections of inbound raw materials, components, and finished EOL vehicle assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, composite lay-up manuals, and other documentation to verify conformity.
  • Geometrically validate manufactured and procured components using inspection gauging and instruments, including programmable CMM and 7-axis laser scanning.
  • Develop and write efficient inspection programs within the metrology suite.
  • Accurately document non-conformance issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality problems.

The Quality Inspector will have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in inspection roles with increasing responsibility.
  • Hands-on experience inspecting mechanical and composite parts within Formula One, Tier 1 Automotive, or Aerospace environments using metrology tools, CMM.
