This is a role working with a high-performance automotive technology SME. They are seeking a QHSE Manager to champion safety, quality, and environmental standards across a fast-paced, technical environment. You must have a proven track record in automotive QHSE; this is your chance to drive real impact in a company that powers the future of mobility.
The QHSE Manager will:
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 integrated management systems.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate hazards and non-conformances.
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with automotive industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report KPIs for quality, health, safety, and environmental performance; present findings to senior leadership.
- Manage incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and emergency response planning.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to embed QHSE into new product introduction (NPI) and process changes.
- Ensure environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions control, and sustainability initiatives.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Manager or Senior Engineer role in an automotive environment.
- Strong knowledge of Automotive tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and 8D methodologies.
- Proven ability to influence at all levels and drive cultural change in high-volume production environments.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility for occasional travel to supplier/customer sites.
