Overview
Our client, an established, award-winning multidisciplinary engineering practice with a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability, is seeking a Project Engineer – Building Services to join their experienced MEP team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the project management of small to medium-scale projects and individual engineering tasks for various client schemes across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities
- Manage project delivery and engineering tasks for multiple schemes across sectors.
- Develop, finalise, and review mechanical building services designs, including HVAC, domestic services, foul drainage, and building management systems.
- Conduct site surveys, inspections, and design calculations using both hand methods and software modelling.
- Prepare technical specifications, reports, and drawings with a high level of accuracy.
- Proactively identify and resolve project risks and issues, representing the company confidently at meetings.
- Support and collaborate with junior engineers and contribute to client relationship growth and your own professional development.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years post-graduate, hands-on mechanical building services design experience within a consultancy environment.
- Demonstrable experience in supporting customer projects through to completion either at a consultancy or contractor.
- Degree or Master’s in building services or architectural engineering.
- Proficient in MS Office, Autodesk Revit MEP, NBS, EDSL Tas and/or IES VE.
- Strong initiative, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
