This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to the design, development and validation of advanced products while building your technical expertise across the full product development lifecycle.
The responsibilities include:
- Supporting the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies for battery systems
- Producing 3D CAD models, detailed drawings and engineering documentation
- Assisting with concept generation, design reviews and design‑for‑manufacture activities
- Working closely with electrical, systems and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Supporting prototype builds, testing activities and root‑cause investigations
- Contributing to engineering change management and continuous improvement initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Product Design or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and mechanical design principles
- Experience using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, NX or similar
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- A proactive approach to work
