We are currently looking for a Process and Production (Manufacturing) Manager for our client, an innovative UK-based manufacturing business specialising in sustainable battery production for electric vehicles. The successful candidate will work with technology partners, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition, high-yield production, and strategic procurement for Power Cell manufacturing.
The Process and Production Manager will:
- Lead supplier engagement and procurement, including RFIs, RFQs, and tendering.
- Establish and optimise KPIs, including yield, throughput, and defect rates.
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Oversee equipment selection and integration to meet industry and production standards.
- Provide technical expertise in design for manufacturability (DFM) to support new product introduction (NPI).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including supply chain, finance, and R.
