We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for our client, a developer of electrical vehicles who brings real engagement and emotion to driving electric performance cars. The successful candidate will develop and improve manufacturing processes, support the launch of new production lines, and ensure build quality matches the high performance of the vehicles. The Manufacturing Engineer will: Work closely with design, R&D, and production teams to ensure Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles are applied from prototype through to production. Create and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and production documentation. Conduct root cause analysis and drives corrective actions for manufacturing issues. Lead tooling, jigs, and fixture design to support efficient and repeatable assembly operations. Develop and implement robust manufacturing processes for low-volume, high-performance EV components and assemblies. The Manufacturing Engineer will have: Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering within automotive, motorsport, aerospace, or other high-performance engineering environments. Experience overseeing and documenting the build of a new product. High value, high complexity & low volume electromechanical assembly experience. Strong understanding of assembly processes, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency with CAD and manufacturing process simulation tools.
