We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Buyer who will join an iconic British manufacturer organisation. The successful candidate will support with purchasing activities, supplier management, and procurement administration across various indirect related purchasing and supply-chain projects.
The Junior Buyer will:
- Support the purchasing function and other departments by identifying and communicating any supply issues that may affect projects.
- Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders to resolve issues around price, quality, delivery, or invoicing, escalating when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for continuous improvement within purchasing.
- Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery, escalating concerns as needed.
- Assist in the creation of Management Information Systems (MIS) reports.
The Junior Buyer will have:
- Degree / Diploma in Supply-Chain or Business related subject is essential.
- Manufacturing or Engineering experience (Preferred).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational abilities.
