We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician to support the build, test and fault-finding of advanced low-volume vehicles. Working within a fast-paced prototype and development environment, you will be involved in electronics assembly, diagnostics, soldering, and wiring loom creation and repair.

The Electronics Technician will:

  • Assemble electronic sub-systems to engineering drawings, schematics and CAD-based assembly documentation.
  • Carry out precision soldering at PCB and loom level in line with IPC standards.
  • Support vehicle integration activities, including electrical installation, routing and connector setting-in.
  • Assist with root cause analysis and resolution of electrical and electronics issues.

The Electronics Technician will have:

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (IMI or City & Guilds Level 4 advantageous).
  • Hands-on experience in electronics assembly, diagnostics and repair within automotive, motorsport, aerospace or similar environments.
  • Proven experience with precision soldering (PCB and loom-level) to IPC standards.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and CAD models for build navigation.
  • Experience working with LV and HV looms, soldering, diagnostics and in-vehicle electrical fault-finding.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and industry-standard diagnostic software.
