We are currently looking for an Electrical Systems Manager , to join a leading manufacturer of motorcycles based in the UK. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, cross-functional coordination, and team mentorship, ensuring that all projects meet performance, quality, and timing targets.
The Electrical Systems Manager will:
- Approve hardware and Software requirements for the Electrical system (working with system architects, design and the product management team)
- Manage Engineering Service Suppliers and Tier 1 Suppliers to meet project Cost, Quality and Timing deliverables.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Manage ESP and suppliers.
- Support project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
The Electrical Systems Manager will have:
- Leadership experience – Must have lead a team of electrical systems engineers
- Electrical Systems Engineering Experience (Must be Electrical or Electronics background)
- Experience working with Tier 1 suppliers and managing external engineering service partners.
- In-depth understanding of hardware/software interfaces, vehicle communication networks, and system validation.
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) and embedded systems development.
- Familiarity with CAN, LIN, and diagnostic protocols.
