Job Description

We are currently looking for an Electrical Systems Manager, to join a leading manufacturer of motorcycles based in the UK. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, cross-functional coordination, and team mentorship, ensuring that all projects meet performance, quality, and timing targets.

The Electrical Systems Manager will:

  • Approve hardware and Software requirements for the Electrical system (working with system architects, design and the product management team)
  • Manage Engineering Service Suppliers and Tier 1 Suppliers to meet project Cost, Quality and Timing deliverables.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Manage ESP and suppliers.
  • Support project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.

The Electrical Systems Manager will have:

  • Leadership experience – Must have lead a team of electrical systems engineers
  • Electrical Systems Engineering Experience (Must be Electrical or Electronics background)
  • Experience working with Tier 1 suppliers and managing external engineering service partners.
  • In-depth understanding of hardware/software interfaces, vehicle communication networks, and system validation.
  • Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) and embedded systems development.
  • Familiarity with CAN, LIN, and diagnostic protocols.
