Our client, a fast-growing, innovative company specializing in the development and production of next-generation lithium-sulfur batteries is currently looking to hire a Cell Manufacturing Engineer. The successful candidate will oversee and enhance the processes behind pouch-cell battery fabrication.
The Cell Manufacturing Engineer will:
- Analyse manufacturing challenges, implement solutions, and introduce new techniques or technologies as needed.
- Develop, refine, and implement manufacturing processes for pouch cell battery fabrication process to improve efficiency, yield, and quality.
- Act as a technical lead, mentoring technicians and junior staff while supporting the CTO with day-to-day operations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and production, to align technical operations with company goals.
- Ensure that all manufacturing activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal protocols.
The Cell Manufacturing Engineer will have:
- A degree in Science, Engineering, Materials or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in pouch cell battery fabrication within industry or academia is required.
- A strong understanding of lithium battery manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex processes and identify improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
