We are seeking a hands-on and production-focused Quality Engineer to support the control, assurance, and continuous improvement of product and process quality across a high-volume automotive electronics manufacturing environment. This role requires strong technical capability, excellent problem-solving skills, and the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders in order to drive quality improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.

The Quality Engineer will:

  • Provide daily hands-on quality support to production, including immediate containment actions and structured problem solving.
  • Manage the Customer Concern Log and lead 8D / CCAR creation, tracking, and timely closure.
  • Lead cross-functional quality issue resolution with Customers, Suppliers, and Operations teams.
  • Support external and customer audits including IATF 16949, VDA 6.1, and customer-specific assessments.
  • Control and document containment, re-inspection, and countermeasure activities in line with the 8D process.
  • Assist in boundary sample creation and support APQP activities for new product introduction.

The Quality Engineer will have:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an automotive manufacturing environment in a Quality Engineering role.
  • Strong working knowledge of 8D, root cause analysis, and structured containment methods.
  • Experience auditing Automotive Quality Management Systems (IATF 16949, VDA 6.1).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and measurement data.
  • Experience conducting process capability studies and analysing statistical results.
  • Strong personal presence and resilience, with the ability to challenge, influence, and communicate confidently across teams.
