As the Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for embedding robust quality processes throughout the software development lifecycle. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will support compliance with industry standards, drive process improvements and help ensure software is developed, tested and released to the highest quality standards.
The Software Quality Engineer will:
- Define and maintain software quality processes, standards and governance.
- Support compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE and internal quality requirements.
- Review requirements, test activities and software deliverables to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Participate in audits, assessments and design reviews.
- Monitor quality metrics and support resolution of software quality issues.
- Drive continuous improvement of software development processes and tools.
- Maintain quality documentation and provide reporting to project stakeholders.
The Software Quality Engineer will have:
- A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years' experience in Software Quality, Software Assurance or Software Process Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
- Experience supporting embedded and/or application software development.
- Familiarity with software verification, validation and quality assurance activities.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills.
- Experience owning or developing software quality processes within an engineering environment.
