This role involves working with precision materials and specialized machinery to achieve highly accurate tolerances.
The Wires and Tapes Operator will:
- Set and operate small rolling and bonding mills to achieve precise tolerances.
- Operate slitting (shearing) machines, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Calculate lengths and quantities of strips using Excel and mental arithmetic.
- Support other production activities, primarily in rolled products and occasionally across the factory.
- Maintain a calm, focused approach when working with fine details and tight tolerances.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and quality standards.
The Wires and Tapes Operator will have:
