This role focuses on supporting the installation, maintenance and fault-finding of fire alarm and AOV systems across a range of sites. The Fire Alarm Engineer will work independently and as part of a wider team, delivering both service and small installation works while ensuring systems remain compliant, reliable and fully operational.

The Fire Alarm Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out fault finding and maintenance on hardwired and wireless fire alarm systems
  • Commissioning and programming open protocol fire alarm panels
  • Installing and replacing fire alarm panels, devices and associated equipment
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults on AOV systems, including actuators and control panels
  • Supporting installation and maintenance of wireless fire alarm systems
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports and service documentation

The Fire Alarm Engineer will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working with fire alarm and AOV systems
  • Experience with both hardwired and wireless systems
  • Experience supporting installation and commissioning activities
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
