The Senior Simulation & Modelling Engineer will lead multiphysics modelling activities across cell and pack levels, supporting product development, performance optimisation and long-term technology strategy. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role combines deep technical analysis with real-world application and commercial insight.
The Senior Simulation & Modelling Engineer will be responsible for:
- Leading the development and maintenance of multiphysics models for electrochemical systems.
- Building and managing a library of models across multiple scales, from laboratory to full system level.
- Translating experimental data into modelling inputs through collaboration with technical teams.
- Supporting validation of models through test design and data analysis.
- Analysing performance and degradation behaviour to inform product development decisions.
- Working alongside engineering teams to translate modelling insights into practical solutions.
The Senior Simulation & Modelling Engineer will have:
- A Master's or PhD in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in physics-based modelling of electrochemical or energy storage systems.
- Experience using modelling or simulation tools to analyse complex systems.
- Ability to interpret experimental data and apply it to model development.
- Strong data analysis and visualisation capability.
