Our client, a designer of innovative automotive systems that push the boundaries of performance and efficiency is currently looking for a Senior Harness Technician. The successful candidate will build electrical wiring harnesses to exact standards, ensuring the highest levels of quality. The Senior Harness Technician will: * Work with workshop manager in day to day running of the harness workshop. * Raise all build related issues, deviations and continuous improvement opportunities with the line manager. * Carry out line inspections. * Pick lineside stock parts required for the assembly. * Carry out any duties as required by the company to ensure a quality product and service is delivered to customers on time in full. * Provide guidance and advice to trainee technicians. The Senior Harness Technician will have: * Previous extensive experience across multiple OEM and system 25 harnesses (motorsport/aerospace) * Ability to mentor junior technicians * Ability to read and understand technical drawings * Cirris or another electrical harness testing software experience * Ability to diagnose issues. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
