We are seeking an experienced PV / Solar Engineer to install, commission, service, and maintain Solar PV systems across residential and small commercial sites. The ideal candidate will be technically competent, safety‑focused, and confident working independently in the field.
The PV / Solar Engineer will:
- Install Solar PV systems, including roof‑mounted and ground‑mounted arrays.
- Carry out system commissioning, testing, and customer handovers.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and PV‑related faults.
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on installed PV systems.
- Ensure all work complies with BS 7671, MCS standards, and DNO requirements.
- Complete all electrical and installation documentation accurately.
The PV / Solar Engineer will have:
- Proven experience installing and maintaining Solar PV systems.
- Strong electrical knowledge with solid fault‑finding capability.
- Experience working on residential and/or small commercial installations.
- Ability to work independently and manage schedule and workload effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication skills when dealing with customers and site teams.
