We are seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate engineering design, quality planning, installation, commissioning, and project delivery activities. This role involves managing multiple phases of moderately complex projects, ensuring they remain on time, within budget, and aligned with customer requirements. You will work with a high level of autonomy while providing progress updates at agreed project milestones. The Project Engineer will: Coordinate all project phases, including planning, installation, commissioning, and final buy‑off, ensuring delivery against timing plans and budgets. Translate customer specifications into clear internal actions or supplier requirements, managing resources and tracking progress. Support APQP and PPAP activities, providing updates, documentation, and customer‑facing reports where required. Perform feasibility reviews, analyse design or specification changes, and produce accurate costings for change requests. Identify risks early, lead root cause analysis, and support PFMEA and quality‑focused activities. Prepare and deliver project documentation, ensuring all deliverables meet customer expectations. The Project Engineer will have: Engineering qualification (Degree, HND, HNC, or Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering) Experience managing engineering projects including planning, installation, and commissioning. Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, and PFMEA processes. Ability to analyse specifications, conduct feasibility studies, and manage change control. Competence in MS Office, Microsoft Project, and a working understanding of CAD tools (e.g., CATIA) Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage budgets, timings, and risks. Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
