We are currently looking for a Programme Planner who will join our client’s team, a developer of electric vehicles whose mission is to bring real engagement and emotion to driving electric performance cars. The successful candidate will create, update, manage and improve timing plans, and build / maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for our client’s flagship programme.
The Programme Planner will:
- Own and enforce best practices for programme planning, ensuring consistency across all workstreams and functions.
- Assess the impact of changes, risks and issues on the master schedule and critical programme milestones.
- Identify and manage critical paths, highlighting potential schedule risks and collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate delays.
- Implement a robust revision control process for BOMs, updating changes and managing version control to ensure that the latest BOM version is always available to the relevant stakeholders.
- Integrate feeder plans into a single, cohesive master schedule, proactively managing dependencies and sequencing by facilitating planning discussions with all stakeholders to resolve conflicts and align schedules.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and project management.
The Programme Planner will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related field.
- Experience supporting whole-vehicle automotive or similar product development programmes with cross-business functions.
- Proficiency in using data management tools and software to create and maintain BOMs accurately.
- Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple BOMs and meet project deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address BOM-related challenges and recommend effective solutions.
